Last night, the Bethune Bulldogs capped off and impressive two game sweep of the Davidson Cyclones to advance to the Provincial A southern finals. Bethune set the tone in game one with a 7 - 4 romp, and in game two the "Dogs" were able to finish the series with a 6 - 5 road win. The Bulldogs will learn who they will be facing in the next round as Grenfell and Balgonie will wrap up what has become an epic battle between two evenly matched teams.
In other action tonight, the Milestone Flyers will travel to Bredenbury to open up their series, while Hague looks to finish off the Fury in Dalmeny in game two of their series. In B action, the Drake Canucks will look to open up their series with Outlook with a victory on home ice, while the Rosetown Redwings and Watrous Winterhawks will hook up in Rosetown. Finally, in D action, the Kenaston Blizzards welcome in the Dinsmore Dynamoes for game one, while the Arrows try to stop the Imperial Sabres in Avonlea.
